Daena names how we practice the philosophy of creation: form should not decorate—it should reveal. We work where inner vision, interpretation, and craft meet, so a brand, object, or experience can speak with clarity—how the soul of the work becomes visible—instead of noise.
The name carries the sense of Daena as the perception of the soul—the inward seeing through which meaning takes shape. Here that is our method: we listen for the inner life of what you are making—the feeling, the intention, the story—and translate it into visual and spatial language that feels alive, honest, and precise.
We believe in premium design with meaning—spiritual in the quiet sense: attentive, restrained, and human. Art gives the signal; technology extends the reach. Artificial intelligence, when we use it, is a collaborator—never a substitute for judgment, never an excuse for generic taste.
Daena exists to serve a future-facing kind of creation: humanity, craft, and machine intelligence composing together—without losing warmth, mystery, or the dignity of the hand and the eye.
I come from a land where design was never just form — it was meaning, rhythm, and soul.
Rooted in the heritage of Persian thought — from the poetry of Rumi, Hafez, Sohrab Sepehri, and Ferdowsi, to the inquiries of minds like Avicenna and Al-Razi, and in our time, Maryam Mirzakhani.
I carry a tradition where art, science, and philosophy were never separate disciplines, but one continuous language of understanding the world.

Where memory turns to light
Summers in Iran, in rooms of pigment and patience—handcraft, watercolor, the slow grammar of the line.
Sound came early: setar and ney, teaching breath and proportion the way drawing teaches the eye.
Nastaliq was studied to assistant-level discipline—ink as meditation, letters as architecture.
Another language waited—precision, evidence, the body. That turn was not a break; it was the same reverence, new form.

The same thread
From military science in Iran to medicine in India, then a PharmD, clinical practice, and Iran’s pharmacy board—the path was always inquiry. A doctorate in pharmacology in Italy, cum laude, opened years of research across Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and Canada, with recognition that carries the spirit of Marie Curie’s frontier-crossing rigor.
He works as a hybrid scientist—wet lab and computation—building machine-learning tools for drug discovery and biomedical questions, with publications in aging, cancer, and pharmacology, in print and in motion toward press.
Design was never aside for Saman; it was native. Daena—A Design Studio, where inner vision becomes form—is the house where that instinct becomes visible: chief creative direction from a human hand, with AI as a quiet collaborator, never a replacement. The horizon we hold is simple: people, intelligence, machines, and nature composing together.
